We have closed the 2023 Temporada Alta, finally achieving a total audience of 63,940, the highest number in recent years<\/strong>, in this 32nd edition. In this way, we have reached 91% occupancy in the 171 performances (of the 97 shows) and activities scheduled in an edition in which we have exhibited our own personality in the commitment to co-productions (25 shows) and 32 premieres of which 21 have been absolute, distributed throughout Salt, Girona and the 7 secondary municipalities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From the festival, this year we have broken a historical record for theater spectators (51,800) and we have managed to attract a significant portion of new buyers, 52.5%, compared to the previous edition. Furthermore, after passing through Girona, 17 of the shows produced or co-produced by the festival this year are guaranteed a tour or season in Catalan or Spanish theaters and 6 of them abroad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With the aim of being a strategic exhibition space for the most interesting plays on the international scene, this year we have programmed 20 shows from outside the country and we have brought the British company Complicit\u00e9 to Girona for the first time. 7,523 people have benefited from the social and educational programs of the festival and 3,246 students from 52 centers have participated in the 98 activities organized within the framework of A Tempo, Arts i Formaci\u00f3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finally,\u00a0Aix\u00f2 no \u00e9s un c\u00e0sting<\/a><\/em>, a project promoted with the collaboration of Radio Primavera Sound and presented by Paula Carreras and Marc Tarrida Aribau, has become, in its first season, the most listened to performing arts podcast in Catalonia, with 19,722 reproductions, which are added to the 17,103 views accumulated by La Caverna<\/a><\/em>, the audiovisual series of Temporada Alta in which great directors and stage creators and personalities from the world of culture talk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
