And now what, with all this uncertainty? Well, today we\u2019ve presented the 29th Temporada Alta Festival, which will be held from 7th October to 8th December. Preparing this year\u2019s event has been difficult and we don\u2019t know how it will unfold yet, but we wanted to maintain a schedule based on the usual axes, with a total of 69 on-site shows and 137 performances, including 10 international proposals, 20 festival productions and co-productions and 52 Catalan creations, with a total of 21 premi\u00e8res.<\/p>\n

Here are some keys to this year\u2019s schedule:<\/p>\n

\u2014We\u2019ll open the festival on 7th October with Bouvet\u00f8ya<\/em>, a show directed by Julio Manrique.<\/p>\n

\u2014We\u2019ll maintain our commitment to national productions, with directors and playwrights such as Julio Manrique, \u00c0lex Rigola, Llu\u00efsa Cunill\u00e9, Lurdes Barba, Joan Arqu\u00e9, David Selvas, Jordi Prat i Coll and Ll\u00e0tzer Garcia, as well as companies such as Jos\u00e9 y Sus Hermanas, Mos Maiorum, Les Impuxibles and CaboSanRoque.<\/p>\n

\u2014Despite the current circumstances, we\u2019re presenting an international programme with names such as Jan Lauwers and Viviane De Muynck, Guy Cassiers, Romeo Castellucci and Pippo Delbono.<\/p>\n

\u2014The week devoted to contemporary creation will take place from 19th to 22nd November and will support creators with an international reach, such as La Veronal, El Conde de Torrefiel, Mal Pelo, Lali Ayguad\u00e9, Xavi Bob\u00e9s and Israel Galv\u00e1n, among many others.<\/p>\n

\u2014We\u2019ve got news for you: we\u2019re launching our remote schedule. In late September we\u2019ll announce the new formats and all the shows that will form part of them at a special press conference.<\/p>\n

\u2014Temporada Alta guarantees social distancing at its venues, in accordance with the COVID-19 regulations, and will refund the amounts of the tickets if any performances are cancelled.<\/p>\n
