The festival weaves alliances with companies, producers, theatres and other festivals and positions itself as one of the leading performing arts festivals in our region.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The Brazilian director <strong>Christiane Jatahy<\/strong> will be one of the highlights of the festival, which continues making efforts to attract international talent. Jatahy will present <em>The Lingering Now<\/em>, the second part of a diptych based on Homer\u2019s <em>Odyssey<\/em>, linking the Greek epic with the current global movement.\u00a0<strong>Ang\u00e9lica Liddell<\/strong>, one of the less conventional voices from international theatre, will present <em>Una costilla sobre la mesa. Madre<\/em>, an expiatory play that brings the grief of mourning the death of a mother to the stage. We will also be able to enjoy the \u201cdocumentary objects theatre\u201d by <strong>Oligor<\/strong> together with the Mexican company <strong>Microscop\u00eda<\/strong>, which this time will premi\u00e8re with <em>La melancol\u00eda del turista<\/em>: a play consisting of mechanisms, objects and miniatures which reflect on the imaginary tourist paradise and its decline.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_36263\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-36263\" style=\"width: 500px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-36263\" src=\"https:\/\/www.temporada-alta.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/webRed-Room_\u00a9Marc-Bartomeus-2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"292\" srcset=\"https:\/\/temporada-alta.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/webRed-Room_\u00a9Marc-Bartomeus-2.jpg 637w, https:\/\/temporada-alta.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/webRed-Room_\u00a9Marc-Bartomeus-2-300x175.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-36263\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Red Room \u00a9 Marc Bartomeus<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>With regards to our local talent, there is the new show by <strong>\u00c0lex Rigola<\/strong>; a study of prostitution by choreographer <strong>Sol Pic\u00f3<\/strong> and <strong>Susanna Barranco<\/strong>; a choreographic piece undertaken by <strong>Marta Carrasco<\/strong>; a proposal from the experimental duet <strong>cabosanroque,<\/strong> and the last play by <strong>Joan Oll\u00e9<\/strong>, an adaptation of<em> La mort i la primavera <\/em>written by Merc\u00e8 Rodoreda.
