On that note, they&#39;ve already started to reveal this edition&#39;s big names. Amongst them, one of the great South African directors and playwrights, <strong>Brett Bailey<\/strong>, will present his own version of the opera <em>Macbeth <\/em>by <strong>Guiseppe Verdi<\/strong>. Twelve African voices will transport the text to the post-colonial period in what will be one of Temporada Alta&#39;s biggest shows.<\/p>\n<p>&#xD;<\/p>\n<p>&#xD;<br \/>\n\tFrom across the Atlantic, in the second edition of the Latin American Connexion season, <em>Viejo, solo y puto<\/em>, a piece by artist <strong>Sergio Boris<\/strong>, will visit the festival amongst others. In the international dance productions section, Belgian <strong>Alain Platel <\/strong>and his dancers will perform <em>Coup Fatal<\/em>, a fusion of baroque music, Congolese notes, rock and jazz performed live. And from the North comes <em>Teixint la pau (Knitting Peace)<\/em>, a piece from the <strong>Cirkus Cirk&ouml;r<\/strong> company, one of the leading showpieces of this Nordic contemporary circus school.<\/p>\n<p>&#xD;<\/p>\n<p>&#xD;<br \/>\n\tTemporada Alta will also repeat its Contemporary Creation Week -which will being international programmers to Girona-, the #FF80 dance project, the Catalan Playwriting Tournament and other activities that are currently being prepared.<\/p>\n<p>&#xD;<\/p>\n<p>&#xD;<br \/>\n\tThis year&#39;s Temporada Alta festival will be held from the 3rd of October to the 8th of December in the cities of Girona and Salt.
