Temporada Alta has reaffirmed itself as one of the great exhibitors of the performing arts world both at home and abroad. For years we have been committed to attracting renowned <strong>international<\/strong> names (this year we had 20 proposals from directors such as Thomas Ostermeier, Oskaras Korsunovas, Alain Platel, Jan Lauwers, Stefan Kaegi or Jan Fabre) along with some of our own renowned artists such as (\u00c0lex Rigola, Agn\u00e8s Mateus, Ivan Benet, Carlota Subir\u00f3s, La Cal\u00f2rica or Carol L\u00f3pez) offering a large number of <strong>premiers (46)<\/strong> and acting as one of the most important production groups in Southern Europe with <strong>28 co-produced<\/strong> <strong>performances<\/strong> in this edition, 18 of which are already guaranteed to tour in 2019.<\/p>\n<p>Over the years, Temporada Alta has become the meeting point for benchmark international professionals. The Programmer Week welcomed <strong>92 programmers<\/strong> from <strong>12<\/strong> <strong>countries.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As for audience numbers, this year <strong>48,825 people<\/strong> attended the performances, a figure that represents a <strong>94.4% occupancy rate<\/strong>, which in total represents <strong>2,648 more spectators<\/strong> compared to 2017 and a 4% increase in occupancy. In total, <strong>96 shows<\/strong> were presented and <strong>228 performances<\/strong> took place, as the overwhelming demand for tickets led to <strong>23 additional performances <\/strong>taking place, putting a total of 5,657 new tickets on sale.
