Over 12 weeks, the festival has shown a consolidation of the project and a strengthening of its main pillars, reaching a total of&nbsp;<strong>52,993 attendees<\/strong>, including spectators (46,909), participants in the A Tempo project (4,533) and attendees at complementary activities (1,551).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition, it is worth highlighting that across the&nbsp;<strong>144 performances<\/strong>&nbsp;of the&nbsp;<strong>91 shows<\/strong>, the festival achieved an average&nbsp;<strong>occupancy rate of 90.79%<\/strong>, and 33 shows sold out for all or some of their performances.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Support for creation has been one of the edition\u2019s standout pillars, with productions promoted directly by the festival such as&nbsp;<strong>A<em>i! La mis\u00e8ria ens far\u00e0 feli\u00e7os<\/em><\/strong>, by Gabriel Calder\u00f3n\u2014premiered to great success at Temporada Alta and currently running at Teatre Lliure\u2014or Ang\u00e9lica Liddell\u2019s new work,&nbsp;<em><strong>SEPPUKU. EL FUNERAL DE MISHIMA o el placer de morir<\/strong><\/em>, both pointing to a long journey at home and abroad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Alongside these major productions, the festival has also supported more modest proposals that began their path in Girona, such as&nbsp;<em>ABECEDARI<\/em>, by La Moukhles &amp; Sent\u00eds, which helps consolidate emerging artists,&nbsp;<em>C\u00e8l\u00b7lula #6: Faula<\/em>, by Roser L\u00f3pez Espinosa, or&nbsp;<em>Bach \u2013 Dostoevsky \u2013 Messiaen<\/em>, with Llu\u00eds Homar and the Piano Duo Brugalla &amp; Stambolov.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On the international front, the festival programmed&nbsp;<strong>16 productions from 13 countries<\/strong>, with highlights including Thomas Ostermeier\u2019s&nbsp;<em>Hamlet<\/em>, Christoph Marthaler\u2019s&nbsp;<em>Le Sommet<\/em>, and Miet Warlop\u2019s&nbsp;<em>Inhale Delirium Exhale<\/em>. To these names we can also add&nbsp;<em>The Hague<\/em>, a production written by Sasha Denisova and directed by Galin Stoev, as well as Cirque \u00c9loize\u2019s&nbsp;<em>ID EVOLUTION<\/em>, among others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One of the edition\u2019s strongest points has once again been&nbsp;<strong>Big Bang<\/strong>, the festival\u2019s professional weekend, which this year brought together&nbsp;<strong>106 international professionals<\/strong>&nbsp;in Girona and Salt. The gathering has reinforced Temporada Alta\u2019s role as a platform for internationalisation, with conversations already under way so that shows such as&nbsp;<em>Gola<\/em>,&nbsp;<em>C\u00e8l\u00b7lula #6: Faula<\/em>&nbsp;or&nbsp;<em>Manual para seres vivos<\/em>&nbsp;can tour on international circuits. This momentum is further strengthened by the festival\u2019s participation in networks such as Pyrenart II and Prospero New, which have enabled\u2014and will continue to enable\u2014tours and concrete opportunities for companies from the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As for the national programme, Temporada Alta continues to strongly back production and co-production\u2014one of the festival\u2019s most important lines of work\u2014which helps generate projects for companies from within the country and abroad. In this 34th edition, the festival programmed&nbsp;<strong>22 in-house productions or co-productions<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>20<\/strong>&nbsp;of which have a confirmed tour or run in theatres after their stop in Girona.
