A total of 10 internationally renowned artists and companies \u2013 some of them also emerging \u2013 shape the week\u2019s programme, among which the premiere of <strong><em>SEPPUKU. EL FUNERAL DE MISHIMA o el placer de morir<\/em><\/strong>, the new show by <strong>Ang\u00e9lica Liddell<\/strong>, stands out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For four days, a hundred performing arts programmers with very diverse profiles (playwriting, acting, programming, directing, management, translation, set design\u2026) will visit Girona. Although it is common throughout the festival for programmers to come and see the scheduled shows, during these four days professionals from all over the world are invited to foster the internationalisation of the Catalan scene and to facilitate the production, co-production and touring of shows.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In order to connect programmers and artists, and to present new projects that may encourage co-production or early programming by international institutions, a series of closed-door professional activities will take place during these days. This is a valuable opportunity for artists to understand the perspectives and artistic lines of international professionals, helping them identify which artistic contexts may be suitable for their future productions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to Ang\u00e9lica Liddell\u2019s premiere, the programme for this edition maintains its usual structure, combining internationally renowned artists such as <strong>Miet Warlop (<em>Inhale Delirium Exhale<\/em>)<\/strong> and <strong>Marina Otero (<em>AYOUB<\/em>)<\/strong> with other proposals by artists and companies from the country who are currently gaining international momentum or have the potential to do so, such as <strong>Oriol Pla and Pau Matas (<em>Gola<\/em>)<\/strong>, <strong>Lorena Nogal (<em>PICASSa<\/em>)<\/strong>, <strong>Magda Puig and Andreu Mart\u00ednez (<em>Manual para seres vivos<\/em>)<\/strong>, <strong>Agrupaci\u00f3n Se\u00f1or Serrano (<em>Historia del amor<\/em>)<\/strong> and <strong>Roser L\u00f3pez Espinosa (<em>C\u00e8l\u00b7lula #6: Faula<\/em>)<\/strong>. The final goal is to generate an artistic exchange among all of them, the professionals, and the attending audience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Big Bang 2025<\/strong> will also screen two films: the recording of the play <strong><em>Dans la solitude des champs de coton<\/em><\/strong>, Patrice Ch\u00e9reau, and <strong><em>Imprenteros<\/em><\/strong>, by <strong>Lorena Vega and Gonzalo Javier Zapico<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Since its beginnings in 2011, more than a thousand national and international professionals have come to Girona, including representatives from prestigious institutions such as the <strong>Festival d\u2019Avignon<\/strong>, the <strong>Th\u00e9\u00e2tre Odeon<\/strong> in Paris, the <strong>Wiener Festwochen<\/strong> in Vienna, the <strong>Kunsten Festival des Arts<\/strong> in Brussels, the <strong>Festival of Naples<\/strong>, <strong>Foreign Affairs<\/strong> in Berlin, the <strong>Th\u00e9\u00e2tre de la Ville<\/strong> and the <strong>Festival d\u2019Automne<\/strong>, both in Paris, and the <strong>Public Theater<\/strong> in New York, among many others.<\/p>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>From 20 to 23 November, Temporada Alta will once again become the epicentre of the leading exponents of&#8230;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":106547,"template":"","class_list":["post-106609","noticia","type-noticia","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.0 -
