It will feature a total of <strong>92 performances, 16 world premieres, 16 international shows from 13 countries, with nearly 145 initial performances and 62,326 tickets on sale<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here are the key highlights of this year\u2019s festival:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>We continue looking towards Europe, co-producing works such as <em>Inhale Delirium Exhale<\/em>, by <strong>Miet Warlop<\/strong>, <em>We: Nosaltres i els temps<\/em>, by <strong>Malpelo<\/strong>, or <em>SEPPUKU. EL FUNERAL DE MISHIMA o el placer de morir<\/em>, the new proposal by <strong>Ang\u00e9lica Liddell<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>Hamlet<\/em>, by <strong>Thomas Ostermeier<\/strong> (opening performance), <em>Le Somnet<\/em>, by <strong>Christopher Marthaler<\/strong>, <em>The Hague<\/em>, by <strong>Galin Stoev and Sasha Denisova<\/strong>, and the Canadian circus <em>ID EVOLUTION<\/em> are some of the international shows that, together with co-productions and proposals from artists in <strong>Conexi\u00f3n Iberoam\u00e9rica<\/strong>, shape this year\u2019s program.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>As a prelude to the 2025 edition, before the official opening, the festival will host a concert by <strong>Patti Smith<\/strong> at the <strong>Auditori de Girona<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We remain faithful to promoting Catalan stage creation, and this year we are co-producing several Catalan works by artists such as <strong>Roser L\u00f3pez Espinosa<\/strong> (<em>C\u00e8l\u00b7lula #6: Faula<\/em>), <strong>Cor de Teatre<\/strong> (<em>Nauta<\/em>), <strong>Josep Maria Mir\u00f3<\/strong> (<em>La Majordoma<\/em>), <strong>B\u00e0rbara Mestanza<\/strong> (<em>Tallar-me el peu amb una motoserra<\/em>), <strong>Mos Maiorum<\/strong> (<em>Nosaltres, els sense nom<\/em>), <strong>La Moukhles &amp; Sent\u00eds<\/strong> (<em>ABECEDARI<\/em>) and <strong>La Menuda<\/strong> (<em>Lumiero<\/em>).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The <strong>Conexi\u00f3n Iberoam\u00e9rica<\/strong> cycle returns strongly with 8 shows and several premieres in Catalonia: <strong>Gabriel Calder\u00f3n<\/strong> with <em>Ai! La mis\u00e8ria ens far\u00e0 feli\u00e7os<\/em>, a festival co-production, and creators <strong>Romina Paula<\/strong> (<em>Sombras, por supuesto<\/em> and <em>Todos mienten<\/em>), <strong>Conchi Le\u00f3n<\/strong> (<em>Cachorro de Le\u00f3n<\/em>), <strong>Jimena M\u00e1rquez<\/strong> (<em>El desmontaje<\/em>), <strong>Marina Otero<\/strong> (<em>El oficio de morir<\/em>), <strong>Lorena Vega and Gonzalo Javier Zapico<\/strong> (<em>Imprenteros<\/em>), and the <strong>Ibarra Roa brothers<\/strong> (<em>Ser\u00e1 un d\u00eda que durar\u00e1 a\u00f1os<\/em>) are this year\u2019s participating artists.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The <strong>Big Bang of Temporada Alta<\/strong> will feature artists such as <strong>Lorena Nogal, Magda Puig, Andreu Mart\u00ednez, Miet Warlop, Ang\u00e9lica Liddell, Agrupaci\u00f3n Se\u00f1or Serrano, Marina Otero, and Roser L\u00f3pez Espinosa<\/strong>, among others.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In this 34th edition, <strong>staged readings<\/strong> stand out, with big names from the Catalan stage such as <strong>David Verdaguer<\/strong> (<em>De profundis<\/em>, by Oscar Wilde), <strong>Elisabet Casanovas<\/strong> (<em>Diaris<\/em>, by Ana\u00efs Nin), <strong>Llu\u00eds Homar<\/strong> (<em>El discurs del gran inquisidor<\/em>, by Dostoevsky) and <strong>Nora Navas<\/strong>, reading poems on mystical desire.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The <strong>Fundaci\u00f3 La Ciutat Invisible<\/strong>, with the <strong>A Tempo<\/strong> project, returns to classrooms with 11 proposals aimed at preschool, primary, secondary, and special education, and once again organizes the <strong>Torneig de Dramat\u00fargia in secondary schools<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The <strong>Torneig de Dramat\u00fargia<\/strong> reaches its fifteenth edition, while we also bring back the <strong>Llibr\u00e0legs<\/strong>, a cycle of readings in libraries.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>And, beyond the programming, <strong>Temporada Alta<\/strong> presents a new initiative in collaboration with the <strong>Ajuntament de Barcelona<\/strong> and the <strong>Generalitat de Catalunya<\/strong>: <strong>Flaix de Tardor Barcelona<\/strong>, a program featuring major international names performing in the Catalan capital.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The 34th edition of Temporada Alta is here, taking place from September 18 to December 12, and we&#8230;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":104486,"template":"","class_list":["post-104440","noticia","type-noticia","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.0 -
